Sunday River Ski Club

Our first trip is here!

I took a quick look at the weather this morning and it looks like we will have a chilly first trip to Sunday River.  Currently, NOAA weather is calling for a high of 14 degrees and wind.

This means that skiers and snowboarders definitely need to be properly dressed for the conditions.  We will certainly remind everyone to take breaks, come inside for “warm ups”, and ski the lower half of the mountain, but we still expect everyone to be dressed for the elements.

Key information for Sunday:

• Be at Ice Arena at 6:45 a.m. — bus departs at 7:00 a.m. sharp!
• Return to Ice Arena is approx. 5:30 p.m.
• Students will call with updates on return time if it varies from 5:30 p.m.
• Be ready to have fun!

Please complete and turn in these forms by Thursday, December 17th!

It’s that time of year again!  The days are getting colder and Sunday River is already boasting top to bottom skiing.  Once again, we will be offering NYA Middle School-Sunday River ski trips.  This page will be a location for you to check for announcements, forms that need filled out, and other communications that may come about during ski season.

Paul and I will be announcing the ski trips at school very soon and handing out the following form to interested students to get the ball rolling.

NYA Ski/Snowboard Selection Form
(this form is due Friday, Dec. 4)

Once the package is selected for the student and payment is returned, they will need to fill out forms 1 and 2 below and possibly 3 and 4.  Even though I will give these forms to students as they turn in the initial form, I am going to be posting the following forms in case they are lost:
