Share an inequality, please!

THIS POST RESPONSE IS DUE BY TOMORROW AT THE START OF CLASS.

As you know from class today, you are to take one of your inequality problems that you created on the last page of your packet and share it with everyone.  Please be sure to write your word problem using complete sentences and proper grammar.

Second, you must also comment one someone else’s inequality word problem with an answer to their problem.

As you write your answer, please use <, >, <=, and >= for your signs (since there is not a sign for “less than or equal to” or “greater than or equal to”).

Greatest math problem ever.

This is a problem, which can be easily solved by children before entering elementary school.  If you want to give it a try, please forget everything you have ever studied.  Here it comes:

2 truths and 1 lie.

Pre-Algebra Students,

You need to come up with two true statements about yourself, but then you must also create one lie about yourself.  Yes, I said you need to lie.  As you post yours, look at previous comments on this blog thread and comment back others’ posts as to which you think is the lie.

Have fun with this and keep your comments positive and appropriate!

Here’s mine:
1.  I have trained and competed in the sport of gymnastics.
2.  I’ve fallen 2 stories into a garbage dumpster.
3.  I’ve hung out in a night club with Michael Jordan.

DUE: You must post your 3 statements by Wednesday (9/9), 1st period.
